Splatoon 2 – Complete Weapon Guide
Hello! Welcome to compilation of guides to playing every weapon in Splatoon 2! The editing for most segments were done by Yoshiller and a few of them by myself. Below, you can find alphabetically listed timestamps for all mains, subs, and specials! I hope this continues to be useful in the future for those who keep playing Splatoon 2 beyond its years or who just want to know what makes this a fun game.

The timestamps in the discription are literaly all over the place
It took me a week, but I watched an entire seven hour video without skipping, like, anything. Every weapon. Every main power up explanation. Every stage recommendation. Every synergy, sucky shoutout, and variation. Everything. And I don't regret it one bit, despite the fact that it'll be half useless in a month when Splat 3 comes out.
Where Dualie squelcher
6:10:33 hey guys
Chip damage is what I call it when potato chips cut the sides of my mouth.
Thank-you I really needed a guide like this.
Have you considered posting a pdf or blog explaining the content of this video
Took a bit but finally got through it all. Hopefully it helps prepare me a little for the 3rd game
stacked video wtf 7 hours
He didn't have to do it but he even covered the grizzco weapons and the rainmaker, absolutely legendary
7 hour long video? No problem
its amazing that this game is still alive. i‘ve stopped long ago but still enjoy watching ppl play and talk about it. i may not play anymore but is still one of my fav games. can‘t wait for splatoon 3
The Octobrush Squid Beakon is still misspelled.
Guess we couldn’t have all of them.
Yea that sounds a lot better for the NZ89. Strategic is how I’d describe it.
Again it’s good at tactics that chase others away from things you don’t want them near.
I love how it was reordered so that the Grizzco Weapons and the Rainmaker are at the end
Especially since he called the Grizzco Slosher the "Ultimate Weapon of Splatoon 2"
After a long time we finally got it
Ya know when you mentioned the clash blaster being like a flamethrower I think a flamethrower type weapon could be cool for a future game. Maybe in the form of some modified spray paint can based weapon.
i main ultra stamp bro
"I'd like to bring special attention to MAIN POWER UP"
What about what I call the "Le Funni" with Litre? If you place two inkmines near eachother and then use a third to auto detonate you can kill stupidly fast with set-up. Also I find Litre Scope so much easier to hit with.
Special Power Up on Ink Armor doesn't reduce the activation time – they're literally identical to the frame.
3:37:47 hey that's my weapon! I don't fight though. I stay in terf…
I think you were a little harsh on the octobrush nouveau there. The octobrush IS bad at direct fighting, but it makes for a pretty alright assassin weapon (solid damage, easy retreats when things go south, and even the big flashy swings cover so much of the screen that it can sometimes be disorienting to turn around and aim at if they catch you off guard). It's for stealth, not running around getting kills, and beakon and missles are great for this. Put beacons in annoying places near the enemy's base or popular sniper perches, strap on some ninja squid and quick super jump, and it can harass the enemy's backline and supports non-stop. Missles aren't too bad for this too, they're low-key and don't give away your position when you're sneaking up from behind a wall and they help tell you which enemies are going away from the pack for easy pickings.
It's a solid alternative to rollers or blasters if you're a stealth player but your playstyle prefers a little extra built-in mobility. I do think rollers and blasters are objectively better weapons for this because of the one hit kills, but speaking as a backline player, the nouveau is unmatched in just how ANNOYING it can get in the right hands, especially when it's solo queue and you're alone in the backline and don't have teammates on voice chat to tell you where the little bastard is. Having one on the enemy team makes everything a little harder, it's like a constant hard to kill fly buzzing around your head the whole match making it so you can't focus fully on your actual job. You're definitely sleeping on it.
Jesus, I've never seen a 7 hour guide. I'm just a subscriber and I'm not exactly that big into Splatoon (I plan on trying to get into it when 3 comes out) but you can just tell that a lot of hard work went into making this guide
WOW 7 Hours Compliation!!!
the splatoon 2 weapon bio movie is a little over double that of the first game.
i can't wait for the complete weapon guide on splatoon 3 to be 10 hours!
(but seriously, this series was such a treat to watch, i thoroughly enjoyed watching you go through this game and put so much effort into making this.)
CHUGGA, AT AROUND THE 3:50 MARK I BEAT AGENT 3'S SECRET BOSS AND GOT THE GOLDEN PIC. THANK YOUUU!!!
(Puts this in my bedtime playlist bc for some reason THIS is what my brain thinks ASMR is – minus the loud music parts when he isn't talking)
Finally got done watching the whole video through. Absolutely amazing work to Yoshiller for editing so many of these amazing bios! The special weapon intros were always welcome and really cool as well!

I have to go now. My planet needs me. (slide whistle)
(Torpedo was clipped by a N Zap shot on the way back to his home planet)
2:32:31 Man venessa didn't deserve that
The description timestamps are in alphabetical order, so imagine my suprise when I saw the .48 gal be first. I thought the video started 4 hours in!
i remember watching this as a 9 y/o and pretending i was the inkling lmao
On the dualies: "Some people will throw themselves into a bomb rather than fight you." Me. That's me. I hate fighting dualies.
are you a non-poison type after gen vi because toxic missed
