  • It’s a scam that there using on fans. They say you can lose money and you could earn money. Let’s be honest they’ve over charged and saying it’s you risk

  • I have read about it 3 times now and I still haven’t got a clue wtf it is about. I will say it’s always about the coin.

  • people can buy what they like…the market will decide, and if it raises money for LFC, it's fine by me

  • It's just another scam to suck fans money.

  • There's a 2 hour documentary about the issue here on YouTube, by Dan Olson. Claiming ignorance to put like "why bother?" is problematic

  • Ha most people haven't got a clue about nft but talk in depth about it like they are experts.
The fact that no one is mentioning the utilites you getting from this nft as well as the artwork says it all.

Every season football kits are more explotive than NFTs. It's its just future merchandise happening now.
Manchester united are already being sponsored by tezos blockchain so this is a good introductionary move by Liverpool before diving into a long term deal.

  • i don't get the crying over nft's you don't have to buy them, i'm like phil i don't really get it and i'm not really interested in it, but their will be people who are into that stuff

  • Buy it or dont…whatever

  • NFTs aren't for me. If I want LFC artwork I buy art from independent artists to support them. Sometimes these artists are raising money for charity, which I would rather be a part of.

  • The truth is that NFTs & BTC is the future of crypto and the question most traders ask themselves is – if this is right time to invest? I feel those who would allow the market dynamism to determine when to trade or not are either new in this space in general or probably just naïve, the sphere have seen far worse times than this, enlightened traders continue to make good use of the dip and pump even acquiring more equities towards trading sessions, I'd say that more emphasis should be put into tradng, since it is way profitable than hodling. Trading went smooth for me as I was able to raise over 15 BTC when I started at 2 BTC in just 5 weeks of implementing trades with signals and insights from mykel kuy buffering I would advise you all to trade your asset rather than hodl for a future you aren't sure about. Say hello to Ethan for a fix, You can reach mykel on ͲeIєɠɾαm👉mykel5

  • No Fucking Thanks. I'll blow my money the way I know how.

  • Official channel getting into NFT scams is shameful, and embarrassing.

  • They're a load of shit and I hope we sell fuck all of them

  • Who cares? Liverpool aren't forcing anyone to get them. I don't see why being angry is a legitimate reaction to this, like they're not stealing anyone's money, there is no false marketing, there is no false promise of value appreciation. It's just nothing.

  • Inter's main/shirt sponsor is a cryptocurrency firm, who now also sponsor UEFA. This is modern football, sadly and it's growing more corrupt as we get more complacent. Premier League clubs will do as much shady business as they can get away with without fan backlash damaging their brand. I don't remember you talking about 'embodiment of Liverpool' Robbo back in November when he became one of the first major footballers to promote NFTs, in fact all the pushback he received was from anonymous twitter accounts, so why wouldn't LFC join him? I wonder if SOS had a say on this through their 'Supporters' Board'. Sadly, the combative energy UEFA, Sky and Gary Neville whipped up against the Super League for their own interests evaporated as soon as the idiots were no longer useful. When was the last time we heard from Tracey Crouch anyway? Certainly not during this Abramovich debacle.

  • There's an nft gallery on wavertree high street next to the rose pub view by appointment only . Come on got to be a front or something what the hell is it boy I'm getting old !

  • Up the NFT Auctioning Reds !

  • I don't understand the NFT thing because it stresses they are not "investments" but says they are working in partnership with Sotherbys. Eh?

  • less valuable than the Monopoly scratch cards McDonald's gave out.

  • Simple, if you don't get it don't buy them and there won't be anymore for sale.

  • There are many issues with NFT's. Environmental costs, many are scams, selling stolen art etc etc I am not on board with them at all. If you look into the reason for them existing you can see what their purpose is. It's not to be a cool hip collectable, it's totally 100 just a speculative asset that you will want to make a profit by selling it to someone at a profit who is stupider than you. They exist to give a purpose to crypto currency and a way for people to cash out their crypto investments because they exist as an entity for people to spend that speculative currency on. I don't do justice explaining the issues with it and the video "The Line goes Up" on youtube really gets into detail about the predatory and bad nature of NFT's.

Also I detest that this technology is getting forced down our throat by Tech companies and celebreties trying to make it look fashionable when behind the scenes their agencies have investments within the space that will see them profit if the masses start to buy them. And thats another thing. You dont buy anything of value. All an NFT is is a cell in a spreadsheet that has a link to something else. You dont own the photo, the photo is irrelevant. All you have is an entry on the blockchain that is represented by the photo.

There has been a strong pushback from those who understand and can see the damaging nature that this technology currently has on the environment, and peoples lives as they can lose alot of money by being blinded by the many scams that this allows. There's better ways for the club to make money and explore new revenue streams than to jump into a space that is currently full of scamming, money laundering and one that causes extreme friction and division everytime a company steps their foot into it. Disappointed to say the very least

  • NFTs are often promoted as an "investment" akin to buying a Van Gogh or Rembrandt, but lacking the crucial element of actual physical ownership. As such they are open to crass exploitation. The recent history of the Internet is full of NFT related scams, and the issue is that even if LFC have tried to mitigate some of the worst elements of those scams, the fact that there is an auction element creates the potential for investors and scammers to profit. It's just got the potential to be all kinds of dodgy.

  • I'm not into these NFTs. They're all a bit John Terry for my liking, but, as was said yesterday, at least they're not inviting us all to "invest in LFCcoin" or whatever full blown crypto scams some other clubs are into.

  • I don't understand it but I'll moan about it anyway , Its exploitive! really? will you buy a shirt made in a sweatshop or your fucking mobile phone in front of you as you speak. Why not complain about that ?

  • For the NFTs I feel like the club just need to say – "okay lads, it's this or ticket prices". What do you want? No-one moans when we bring out a new kit. Or a training kit. Or any other merch. Which by they way ALL have environmental costs. We all want the shiny new players. We all want the club to win things. If people want to buy these, let them. It literally doesn't affect you in any way with the possible exception of keeping ticket prices from increasing.

  • This gets my vote for the most boring video on Youtube, ever! Fuckin hell you can tell there's no footie this weekend. You're really scaping the barrel with this shite! Just tell everyone if you buy this shite you're basically admitting to the world you need to get a life!

  • NFT's are a disease. They're a money laundering ploy for big corporations to scam people off of their money with something that can't even be physically owned. Not to mention the impact it has on the environment. I can't trust anyone who participates and deals in NFT's, the club included. But then again Liverpool is owned by the cheapskate, money hungry Y*nks FSG. So no surprise there.
