If you're enjoying Rise, check out Pat's ode to Monster Hunter: World's GREAT SWORD, which is a GREAT SWORD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sPtxKqRa0I
Can we stop putting the flinch shenanigans in these types of videos? Flinch free exists for a reason, it's on you that you're not using it.
oh my god i’ve been doing multiplayer quests all this time and couldn’t figure out why I was struggling so bad
This was really useful! I was very confused at first because of the walls of text the game gives to explain stuff, and this explained things well, thank you! 🙂
Do you have any embryo tutorials???? This is still a smidge advance for me. I picked this game up today, and I’ve never played any games before.
greatsword and hammer are literally two of the most mechanically simple weapons in the game, but I wouldn't expect polycuck to know that, they're too preoccupied with politics
I really screwed myself when I decided that bow was a good starter weapon
This is a really excellent video. Didn't expect to watch the whole thing.
So do we want to upgrade or just replace armor 😅
I’m playing the demo now and the tutorial is TERRIBLE
Nice video. I learned a lot of helpful stuff, but it didn't answer the biggest question I had: how to target/lock on monsters, etc. Just bought the game to play with friends and I really want to get into it… but I find the controls in this game to be a total unintuitive mess – the one thing hindering me from enjoying it so far.
I have just bought this game today and your video was a big help!
Wow! I am only thinking of picking this up. No gameplay yet. This is a lot, but I just might go for it. Plus the Deluxe Edition is on sale.
thx
this is so helpful. I just bought the game and started playing last night :') I was confused about what to do and what to kill, I went on expedition after the first quest/mission (tutorial), I saw a monster on my minimap, which is Azuros, I thought I was supposed to kill it, but I don't see the quest to kill it. since I saw the icon on mini map, I just followed and tried to kill it. but this guy is thick af 😭 I died once then tried again. finally after battles and chasing multiple times, I got to kill it.I don't think I should kill it tho 😂 I don't see the quest to kill it on the left. I decided to watch beginner tip on yt today, and thank you for this great video 🤙
World is Just much better ☹️
I was honestly in the process of selling this game, but this tutorial actually made me want to keep playing
As an absolute baby, I appreciate this
here for the pc version 🙂

What happends if my wolf or cat dies
lol look how slow the greatsword is lol trash
Great video. Just got this for the switch and it throws a lot of stuff at you at the beginning which blew my mind. This video is perfect.
You are a lifesaver! This was very helpful. Been trying to understand the mechanics of this game but now I'm ready to hunt! 😁
I'm not a baby, I'm a goddamned fetus.
That newborn:
"Yes!"
"I qualify!"
The ration is a ration.
This is super helpful! Thank you!
Why does every game now rely on me having "friends," let alone "friends with shared interests"? T_T Regretable.
Never played a monster hunter game and just wondering if it's worth getting
i kinda understand but everything looks so confusing
Super late to the party but I’m starting on monster Hunter today
thank you for this video ! i just got mhrise today, and i am unsure of how to use the new mechanics (haven't played yet, but want to know before i embarass myself if i play online)
Why he say palamute like that
I asked for this game for Christmas but I feel like it might be too complicated for me. I'm not big on strategy.
Thanks for video. It help me a lots
fuq me this game is hard
I really want to play this but just to much going on, how can I learn and stay interested 🤔???
I've been wanting to play MH for years and now seeing this video I'm thinking oh my this is a lot :O
I'm an absolute baby i guess
This was a great video but I'm probably not going to put in so much effort to get into a game. Too bad I can't get a refund
Soooo is it weird that i completed hub quests alone (yes even highrank)
Beginner weapon ang long sword daw ampota
the way the narrator says "P a l a m u t e" is so funny like he's being sus ab it LMAO
Honestly it feels like shit playing it.
The controls are just… god damn trash. The whole control scheme has me putting the fucking weapons away.
I put like 12 hours in before I smashed it with a hammer.
Seriously fuck this game.
You cannot aim worth a fuck in this game.
Like swing. Fucking miss.
I just can’t with this trash
And why the fuck do I have to use all these stupid consumables?
We can’t get a new dragons dogma here but we get fucking this shit
As a greatsword main from monster hunter world can confirm. You need to know the monsters movement by heart to be effective, you are so slow and your attacks are slow. It's a strong weapon and I loved nailing meaty hits though.
This is the first video I find with actually some advice, thank you very much
