The scent of roasting coffee beans wafts through the air in #Melbourne. This city is serious about its coffee, and if you’re game, you can base an entire Melbourne #visit around sampling the offerings from local cafés.
Want more than a caffeine buzz from your Melbourne #vacation? You’re in luck. Melbourne sits on the banks of the Yarra River, and you’ve got your pick of cathedrals, parks, and giant buildings to explore, as well as an extensive streetcar network to help you get from one place to the next.
Melbourne’s locals love art, and the inner-city laneways are jammed with street artists painting over the external walls of buildings. Don’t worry; these artists have a permit and are sanctioned by the city. A visit to Luna Park™ is also a must, when staying in Melbourne. Established in 1912, the theme park features one of the world’s oldest roller coasters and a number of additional vintage rides.
For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.

Born in Melbourne to Slovene and Dutch immigrants, lived here for 29 years (all my life). I love Melbourne and the sacrifices my older family made to get me here.

I’m English and looking to move to a sunnier tropical city for awhile in my 20s. Thinking about trying out living in Melbourne for a bit. Love the arty vibe.
Watching this video has made me realise how great Melbourne truly is. Having lived here my whole life, I know that I’ve been lucky but I haven’t actually had a turning point. This brings back nostalgia for someone who hasn’t really gone into the city since 2019

How is it possible for a city to be as ugly as this filthy, dreary, drab hole?
Would like to visit at some point! Not now due to all the fucking lockdown stupidity that´s going on now! Sad to see that stupid politicians are trying to destroy Australia and Melbourne!

MELBOURNE CITY IS WONDERFUL, BUT THIS VIDEO IS VERY SHORT AND DIDN'T INCLUDE LOTS OF OTHER WONDERS SUCH AS HERITAGE LISTED MUSICAL THEATER BUILDINGS, OPERA, BALLET, SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA CHAMBER HALL, CONCERTS, PLAYS, LIVE PERFORMANCES, THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO, LES MISERABLES, DON QUIXOTE ETC. PLUS CHINATOWN, DOCKLANDS, MELBOURNE STAR WHEEL, WAR MEMORIAL ETC. THIS VIDEO IS OLD AND NEEDS UPDATING. THANK YOU SO MUCH EXPEDIA.
Melbourne is great except for the weather. Weather really sucks as it changes quite a lot during the day and you don't even know what to wear sometimes. None of the seasons feel alright, it's hard to distinguish the seasons in fact. It's almost 6-9 months fall / winter and the rest is spring/ summer. But then again, the temperature changes quite a lot daily. There are no good beaches near the city and the water is always cold. After 7 years, I had enough of this crazy weather and moving to Brisbane. Good luck to everyone who is moving to Melbourne.
