Is it a GOOD Time To Start Mining Crypto? (While I Fix A GPU)
In this video I discuss a very commonly asked question: “Is it too late to start mining crypto?” I give my thoughts as I replace the fans on a Gigabyte RTX 3060 Ti.

I love trading and investing. Been into computers for several years now. Love mining and I'm diving deeper into it as a career. Bear market is time to accumulate. The cycle is playing out exactly as it does.
Thanks!
Thank you for this video.. really helped me decide to still keep a passion of building a rig.
It's a long term game, a multi year plan to truly bear amazing fruit just like anything else worthwhile. It takes time

That has been my approach this whole time and I have almost 1ghs and a sizable amount of crypto assets. I try to stay in the green, not too much in the red. Great advice.
As someone who just started looking into this, it seems like the best option is to wait a few months or to start off very small.
The reason is the GPU prices are still high and with ethereum not able to be mined soon, the profitability will drop. Also the GPUs will flood the market and GPU prices will drop. I look at the number of them on ebay vs the number sold and the high prices have minimum support.
Just my opinion.
is this a good gpu to start ? xfx speedster qick 308 amd radeon rx 6600 xt gddr6 8gb gpu graphics card
I enjoy putting computers together. It's kind of therapeutic to me. Despite that, I don't want to build my own mining rig. I think that building them is fine for a hobby, but treating mining as a job or source of income means one would have more important things on which to spend their time and money. What are the prospects of hiring a data center to host your mining operation?
I agree ☝️ scaling the market is important before investing thousands of dollars; my build is only like 550 bucks before gpus; 1000 bucks
You could also just replace the bearings.. Most of the gpu fans nowadays use a metal sleave bearing, and most people tend to just replace the fans. You can repair and upgrade the seized fans from sleave bearings to ball bearings.
I wish I didn’t stop mining. Just started mining eth. I could have spent the last 2 years doing it. Before that I was mining Bitcoin. Now we are going back…
I would like to start but i have 150dollars only
I went all in. Bought 8 x 3090 cards using 2 x 8-pins power connectors. I personally think that any card after the 3090, which means the 3090Ti and beyond will not be worth it for mining due to the fact they need a lot of power. You would need a 3000Watts power supply to get the same rig as you can now.
thanks for the video man! 🙏
i like it as a hobby. the money is secondary
VOLUME. RIP EARS
i need to mine because i am making too much power from my solar system. power company does not pay back for the excess power generated.
I like your approach. Basically, scaling in. I've just built my first mining rig. CPU/GPU hybrid.
I started in mining a couple years ago. More for the learning aspect than the money. I was building a gaming rig anyways so it seemed a good, logical use of my GPU power (2 RTX2060 Supers) when I'm not using the computer while at work. Like I said, not in it for the money, but definitely for the community around a technology that's here to stay. I'm cranking a whopping 87Mh mining Eth. Hasn't quite paid for the hardware, but since this was built for MS Flight Sim, it's worked out well for me! 😀 Great content bro, you've got a new sub!
Such a down to earth talking period. Thank you so much for saying all that you have. You have put this into a much better perspective for myself and surely many others. Keep up the great content. You are a pleasure to listen to and learn from.
Gigabyte gpu? Shocker. Mining for me is it's own reward. Love the content, man!
will those miners do free mining when block reward goes to zero? if not how will ppl use their coins. lol
Can’t ground through paint. Lol
I kinda quit gaming so I just leave my 3700 and my 2700x and my 5700g to mine. Like 11Kh/s in xmr and 52 Kh/s eth. Hopefully they don’t go to eth2 before the end of the year.
Bro how did you get 60mh/s at 40 degrees 120w I have the same card and get 42mh/s 57 degrees 145w. Is yours LHR? Mine yes
