INSANE ending of regulation during TCU vs. Arizona
TCU turns the ball over and Arizona’s Dalen Terry takes it to the hoop, but fails to let go of it in time and comes up just short of beating the buzzer.

The guard flopped but it was a foul.
Kudos to the officials, she says. Lol
ARIZONA FANS, ABOUT 95% OF PEOPLE AROUND THE COUNTRY, INCLUDING ANALYSTS, SAY TCU WAS FOULED WITH 3 SECONDS LEFT IN REGULATION. THIS GAME WAS STOLEN FROM TCU. PERIOD.
The ball handler tripping on his own feet was devastating for the horned frogs!
That guy got mugged
Horse manure.
Come on refs this is what your whistles are for. Since no foul was called by the TCU player, who looks to be flopping for a call and free throws, as he fails to break the trap and the clock runs down, should have been an over and back violation against TCU.
That was either a backcourt violation or a foul. Looked like his foot was even on the line the step before he fell down.
Just looking through the AP gallery of photos from the game, I found at least 3 pictures of a UofA player being whacked as he tried to score. It's one thing to tell a team to be more physical, but it's another to allow TCU to play bully ball all game long because you're afraid to call it every time and look biased. If that game had been called like games were called all regular season, Arizona wins by double digits in regulation, and a bunch of guys in purple foul out.
They called NOTHING every time a TCU guy would plow into an Arizona defender like a mack truck. What else is a defender supposed to do?
But they called Arizona THREE times for brush fouls on TCU 3 pt attempts that were probably offensive leg kicks to draw contact on at least 2 of them. TCU scored 8 massive points off those 3 calls. The game never should have been close enough for Frog fans to whine about the half court no call.
Looks like Terry was riding him like a damn bucking bronco.
First, I'm a TCU fan, it's hard to tell from this angle, it appears to me there is contact with the area below the defenders shoulder, this in turn pushes Miles to step backcourt, and shortly after the defender's hip hit Miles hip which is the foul most people question.
Obviously Miles somewhat violent reaction and the fact that he didn't try to make some kind of saving pass make it look like a flop. I think a little less reaction and an attempt to throw the ball up for a pass or a shot would have forced the officials into making a call.
The clock looks like is pauses at 2.2 seconds for at least a second?
TCU guard flops hard here to sell this, I bet if he would have fallen naturally he would have been much more likely to get this call. The way he goes flying, the AZ defender would have had to shove him like Jokic did to Markieff Morris.
Every TCU fan salty that it wasnt called a foul.
Which one would you like more? Guaranteed OT and a chance to win, or Arizona ball with 3 seconds left because he was over and back before the bump? Absolute clowns.
No respect for teams that celebrate these types of wins. Refs dropped the ball on this one, once again.
TCU tried to get bailed out on a foul call at half court. No way should that be awarded.
Great no call. Tcu tried to cheat Arizona out of the tournament with a blatant flop. Finally these refs get something right
2 referees had angle to see it. CHOKE…..BY THE OFFICIALS…. I WONDER IF THEY DICUSS WHAT CONSTITUTES NO CALLS AT THE END OF THE GAME…. i remember ACC tourney game and on the last second shot Kenny Dennar flattening Buck Williams off the ball ensuring no second shots for the Maryland….
TCU won this game
TCU was absolutely robbed ! Horrible
Not a Zona fan but it definitely looked like a flop hard to tell from the angle but no way he’d go that far off that little of a hit
Terrible no call, body foul block for sure. Great game between the two battling teams. Shame refs were not up to the task of making a crucial call.
TCU was horribly robbed. And if no foul, it's an over and back violation. AND the clocked stopped at 2.2 seconds for a brief moment. Imagine if he got it off in time with like .2 seconds or so and they counted it with the clock stopping at 2.2 seconds being the only reason he got it off.
Arizona going to lose to Houston
The rape occur before or after the buzzer?
I think the refs didn’t want to end the game on a foul. Blew the game though
Edit: what’s dumb is that the refs were more focused on not calling the foul than on calling over and back (which it was since they didn’t call a foul). They would have let the game end on a dunk had he released it in time.
We can’t have TCU in Sweet 16 – we have to protect our choking #1 Seeds for TV revenue because we need millions
Plenty of questionable calls went against Arizona to
TCU was robbed. Arizona player totally decked the TCU guard. I understand not calling stuff at the end but this was so blatant 😡
Missed foul call cost them the game
