This is the most comprehensive, straight forward, ad free, tutorial for Microsoft OneNote.
OneNote is indeed the best note taking app. Especially for me as an Electronics Engineering major.
Good job.

Ok…how do you dictate in Windows?
great video. Thanks
good one,just learn it
Absolutely LOVE this tutorial Matt!
So much great talent on YouTube. God bless you for making this video to help someone in need that you don’t even know. You have a prayer soldier for life.
Wow, as I teacher, and being at a Private school for the first time, where we can use technology, this was very insightful. I have created my Assessments in Onenote now. And this will help a lot with lesson planning. Thank you so much, I will follow you for more tips on how to use OneNote.
Good video! How would you dictate on PC?
Simple, precise, great voice over. Thank you for a great tutorial.
Hey, do you know how to change Uppercase to lowercase e.g. HELP ME – Help Me
Any information will be really helpful.
Thank you so much! I was just wondering if there’s any way to move a page into a different section once I’ve already made notes in it?
❤❤
Excellent video – thanks – so helpful
I cant believe how useful this tutorial is. I've just discovered onenote which I'm rather ashamed of not having done before. It's fab. Thank you. And your video is clear, well spoken and so explanatory. I'm training in UX design and I needed something clear and functional and you have just helped me save hours of organisation.
is there a way to share the Sticky Note in Ms Office with a colleague, and to use the sticky note together as a check list of Tasks
Nice and Thanks.
thank you so much!
Awsome video. Crisp precise. Thanks sir
Thanks for this video. Can I export my notes to e.g. word?
Brilliant video, thank you!
BTW, I love how you present…so organized and calm with VERY useful information (your accent helps to for us Anglophiles). I absolutely love OneNote. I had used Evernote for a decade and very much wish I had switched much earlier. The only place so far that Evernote has an advantage is in being able to copy a region of a web page and OCR it rather than store it as an image. I have over 20K notes in Evernote. I've saved all the notebooks as .enex files, but I haven't tried the (now unsupported) conversion app yet. I really only want maybe 1/3 of those notes as well. Any tips would be welcomed.
Instead of a OneNote page, I accidentally shared my entire Notebook with one of my colleagues. Removing User in OneNote Shared with People is not working. Even though my Notebook is closed in her app, it can still be viewed or edited at her end. Any idea why?
I have zeroxed family recipes I am retyping and digitizing for publication for family members. I am so slow, and was excited to think that my iPad and OneNote could change handwriting into text, but how?
which version of one note is this tutorial about?
Very simple video i hope you do the same with other apps
I've just started work as a technical writer. This is immensely useful! It's a great and a comprehensive video. Thank you!
Great stuff and good help for a beginner. Just have one question, is there a way to dictate on a windows laptop as you mentioned for the Mac?
Thanks. This was very helpful. I was caught between Apple Notes, Google Keep, and MS OneNote. I think OneNote suits me best. I'm a developer.
I agree with Yoshi, thanks for this video Matt
can you make presentations with this? if so does anyone have a link to a tutorial?
Thanks so much for reminding me that I can use "speak to text" in One Note. This is going to allow me to work longer and save my back from leaning forward to type .
This was Awesome. you made this so simple to understand!! thank you
Very helpfull video !!
Ive been meaning to switch from notepad++ to one note for years. This video gave me the motivation to do it right now.
How do I make pages finite? Like, I don't want it To go on forever…..?
You don’t have 1m views for nothing! Really good useful content! Thank you!
After watching the video I felt like I am a pro now that’s how good you Explain the function of one not true this tutorial. Kudos and keep it up!
Great video. Thanks!
Hello, I do not have the notepad feature on the left hand side of the one note, even if just creating a new document. What is the quickest way to have access to this function to add events-meetings-projects etc. I would like to create multiple locked files that need a password for access to use with various emps for 1:1 notes/tracking progress.
I recently retired after 35+ years of active military service and moved into the private sector. I've long been a paper note taker, with literally dozens of journal pads saved for reference over the years. I think OneNote has the potential to replace my journals and I'm especially intrigued by the cross-device interoperability. However, I'm anxious to see if it will work with an Android pad & pen (ie Samsung Galaxy note). I don't want to be "forced" (admittedly a little bias there) into the Apple world but the ability to take notes by hand is critical to my job, or at least to my own sanity. I appreciate tutorial and keep up the great work!
Thank you, human. <3
Thank you for your video, it was helpful. I’m hoping to use One Note to organize my daughters homeschool work. We use Rocketbook to write. And then I hope to keep it organized in one note.
Thank you for the content and relaxed pace! You have a great voice!
I've used one-note, but not as often as I use Microsoft word. I noticed that you use it a lot to organise your scriptwriting for YouTube videos. I am developing my blog, mostly it is written content. I've been trying to figure out a way to develop a content management system for my blog. So, I can organise my content and timetable. I want to use one note more to organise and help me plan my content.
What version is he explaining in this video?
SO helpful tysm!!! 😍
thank you!
